Half Term – Stay & Play and Rock Up

This October half-term we’ve had a very active time! We had Stay & Play here in school with our fabulous indoor and outdoor climbing frames, then even more climbing at Rock Up – which has become a definite favourite with our families.

We also had a day trip out of Birmingham, which you can read all about HERE.

Stay & Play (Tuesday 24th October)

The rain held off for the morning to let us play outside.

…Who said play is just for children!

We moved inside for the second part of the afternoon, but indoors doesn’t have to mean less active!

Rock Up (Thursday 26th October)
This is our third family trip to Rock Up in Broadway Plaza – It’s a simple, child friendly rock climbing experience, with no need for an instructor. It’s been a very popular trip with our families, it’s fun, exciting and challenging too, especially if you’re a little bit scared of heights!

Very brave children – and a few parents too!

We have activities like these in every half-term and they are open to anyone living in Nechells or with a child at school in Nechells. You do not have to have children at St Vincent’s!
